I have been interested in creative arts since a very young age. Sculpting, photography, graphic design and drawing have always been close to my heart. That passion took me to attend art school and later gain a degree in landscape architecture. My affection to nature is as strong as it is for art and it has definitely been a major factor in my career choices. I've decided recently to concentrate more on a subject that I've been passionate about for many years – sculpting... and that’s how Galloway Woodcarving was born.
I offer a wide range of woodcarving services from small wooden sculptures and hand carved signs all the way to carving 3 m. tree stumps. I also design and build garden structures like pergolas and benches. The more unusual, the better!
I don't'have a design template to work from. Each of my creations is different, unique and sometimes personalised. I use lots of different types of wood and can create sculptures of whatever my clients ask for. Every project starts with a design and sometimes a small model. After agreeing all the details with a client, the woodcarving process begins.
